Becoming a Member
All women regardless of age, race, creed or political affiliation interested in contributing to the welfare of their community, country and world are eligible & welcomed for membership. Please see the application for membership on the FORMS page of this website.
MEMBERSHIP AND DUES
The best way to find out more about our club is to attend one of our business luncheons or evening meetings and talk to current club members. You can find a schedule of these on our Calendar of Events page.
Before applying for membership, a prospective member must attend a minimum of two (2) of the following combinations: 1) General meeting with paid luncheon 2) Evening meeting with paid minimum or 3) Two paid day or evening meetings cost and support Club’s major fundraiser by purchasing a minimum of one ticket and serve on one committee each year. This may seem like a lot, but it’s not and it’s a lot of fun.
A one time badge fee of $10.00 (subject to change) plus current Club and Federation dues (Federation Dues: $22.00; Club Dues $38.00= $60.00) should accompany an application for membership. If you pay by credit or debit, there is a small service fee. When you become a member of your club, you also become a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, International and the California Federation of Women's Clubs. When you pay club dues, part of your dues money goes to GFWC, $15. to CFWC, $4. and part goes to your District, which varies, $3.-$5.
