Becoming a Member

All women regardless of age, race, creed or political affiliation interested in contributing to the welfare of their community, country and world are eligible & welcomed for membership. Please see the application for membership on the FORMS page of this website.




The best way to find out more about our club is to attend one of our business luncheons or evening meetings and talk to current club members. You can find a schedule of these on our Calendar of Events page.

Before applying for membership, a prospective member must attend two Club functions, one of which must be a General Club Luncheon Meeting. Yearly membership requirements include attending a minimum of two General Club Luncheon Meetings, support of the Club’s major fund-raising events, and by serving on one committee. This may seem like a lot, but it's not and it's a lot of fun.

A one-time admission fee of $10.00 plus current Club and Federation dues (Federation Dues: $22.00; Club Dues $38.00= $60.00) should accompany an application for membership. When you become a member of your club, you also become a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs, International and the California Federation of Women's Clubs. When you pay club dues, part of your dues money goes to GFWC, $15. to CFWC, $4. and part goes to your District, which varies, $3.-$5.
